Fun with 'Factfulness'

‘Factfulness’ by Hans Rosling et al for March reading

I have to confess I am really looking forward to reading this book. In part it is because I admired and respected Hans Rosling (died in 2017) and was honoured to work with him when I was involved with the delivery of a strategic marketing programme for IKEA.

He was always stimulating, entertaining and very human. He always comes armed with some fabulous stories.

So, I glanced at the book this morning and I have to tell you my ignorance about the world is pretty much on a par with that of chimpanzees!

As he points out it’s not that I am not intelligent it’s just that I am ill informed. So I am already grasped by his casual writing style, the stories and the involvement of me, the reader, after just a few pages.

I can’t wait to read the rest… here is the link..

The next Business Book Group gathering is planned for Tuesday April 9th at 1930. See you then!

and the next book is......

THE INFINITE GAME BY SIMON SINEK. I make no apology for the fact that we will be enjoying another well known author this month. This book is also taken from the shortlist for the CIM Management Book
