This is a very readable and enjoyable book. In fact one member determined it was a book she would place in the Christmas stocking of her twenty something son. Other felt it to be a book which should be on every young (and old) managers and leaders reading list.
The insights are shared through a series of stories with which we all instantly connected.
The practical and very real nature of the illustrations, from the 'collective blindness' of the military and aircraft designers to the ice clearing strategists in Sweden brought his ideas to life in a very real way.
Maybe for me the most powerful was that of the white supremacist and the power to change which starts with building trust.
In short, Rebel Ideas is a worthy winner of the CIM Management Book of the Year. Definitely worth making time for.
